Patrick Mahomes, brother, Jackson Mahomes, is not gay. However, an NFL fan was heard chanting anti-gay insults towards Jackson Mahomes during Saturday’s game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Denver Broncos.

In a video released on Twitter, someone can be heard saying, “Hey, Ma-H–o, Ma-H–o.” Then, the camera zooms up on Jackson, standing on the sideline with a red Chiefs jacket, while the guy screams anti-gay obscenities.

Look I don’t like Patrick Mahomes brother either but the next time a someone is calling him Jackson Mahomo I’d like nothing more than to see a gang of gays jump that person. It’d be tight af. Lol.

He was capturing photos of Brittany Matthews, who is his brother’s fiancée. She heard the anti-gay remarks and responded, “How rude.”However, Mahomes never glanced around or addressed the incident, as seen in the video. 

It’s unknown if the situation escalated further or if the stadium’s security got involved. Similarly, Jackson uploaded a picture of them together on Instagram which was taken in the field in Denver.

He also uploaded a TikTok video to be seen dancing on the sideline. Nevertheless, both Mahomes and Matthew did not address the situation on social media. 

Jackson Mahomes Targeted With Homophobic Slur

Jackson Mahomes became victim to homophobic slurs in the recent match of his brother in Denver. Although many people did not provide any opinion on the matter, they expressed their anger towards the person who thought it was okay to use such slurs. 

In short, some netizens criticized the hate that the person was targeting towards gay people. The player’s younger brother could not get much support, maybe because of his previous actions and controversies.

The incident occurred only weeks after a local Kansas City bar slammed Jackson on Facebook. They alleged that he was nasty and tried to close down the restaurant because they didn’t have enough capacity to seat his large group, writes Daily Mail.
