Bernadette Hanssen is, the wife of Robert Hanssen, was a former Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) of American double agent who spied for Soviet and Russian intelligence services against the US. They got married in 1968.

They have six children altogether, three sons and three daughters; Sue Hanssen, Jane Hanssen, Greg Hanssen, Mark Hanssen, John Hanssen, Lisa Hanssen.

Bernadette’s has gotten virtually little coverage in the media. However, an occurrence made that quite famous.

Bernadette’s friend Jack Hoschouer, a retired Army officer, occasionally watched the Hanssens having sex through a bedroom window at Hanssen’s request and without his wife’s knowledge.

Hanssen began covertly videotaping his sexual sessions, which he had a conversation with Hoschouer about it. Later, in the bedroom, he hid a video camera. He was connected to a closed-circuit television line so Hoschouer could watch the Hanssens from his guest room.

He also explicitly revealed the sexual specifics of his marriage on internet chat groups, providing enough information for those who knew them to recognize the couple.

Who Are Robert Hanssen Family

Robert Hanssen was born in the Norwood Park district of Chicago, Illinois, to a Lutheran family. Hanssen’s father, a Chicago police officer, was emotionally abusive to him as a child.

Howard Hanssen is his father’s name, and Vivian Hanssen is his mother’s. There is not much data out there regarding his siblings.

He has a total of six children.

Robert’s personal life, on the other hand, is largely unknown.

Robert Hanssen Jail Sentence -Where Is He Today?

Robert Hanssen was condemned to life in jail without the possibility of parole for spying for the Soviet Union and Russia.

During 20 years, Hanssen pleaded guilty to 15 counts of espionage and conspiracy for transmitting confidential material to the Soviet Union and, later, Russia.

In the United States Court for the Eastern District of Virginia, he appeared before Judge Claude Hilton.

According to US Attorney Paul McNulty, the punishment should serve as a deterrent to other possible traitors.

Hanssen is currently incarcerated at ADX Florence, a federal supermax prison outside Florence, Colorado, where He is presently serving 15 life sentences without the chance of parole.
