Shawn Laval Smith has a long list of criminal records and he was arrested several times as well. 

According to our sources, the suspect already has criminal records in Charlotte, South Carolina, and California. It has come to light that Smith has over a dozen records of crime and he is a career criminal. 

Moreover, the 31-year-old recently got out on bail of $1000 in California for an unknown misdemeanor. Also, he was arrested in South Carolina back in 2019 for suspicion of shooting at a vehicle. There too, he got out in $50,000 bond. 

It is a shame that someone with such a lengthy criminal rap sheet was allowed to walk and a 24-year-old innocent college girl paid the price.

Shawn Laval Smith is yet to be arrested for the murder of Brianna Kupfer. 

The LAPD has released a statement saying that the suspect is currently at large. He was spotted in a store 30 minutes after the murder where the suspect was calmly buying a vape pen. 

More than $200,000 is announced as the reward for anyone who provides the information leading to his capture. However, the police have urged people not to engage if they spotted Smith as he is armed and dangerous. 

Let’s hope for his quick arrest.

Shawn Laval Smith Wikipedia: Height And Weight Details To Know

Shawn Laval Smith is identified as a 31-year-old black man who was last seen in Southern California. 

Also, the LAPD has described him as a homeless man with a height of around 6 feet and 2 inches and weighing approximately 190 lbs. The suspect is most probably using public transportations.
