Miriam and David have been together since 2004, however, there has been lots of problem in their marriage. Miriam has filed a case against David with domestic violence twice in 2007 and 2010.
In addition, he was also imprisoned for 12month after being found guilty in 2011 for breaking the arms of Miriam in 2010.

The statement released by the Premier’s office says, “It is with great sadness that I announce the death of David Gulpilil Ridjimiraril Dalaithngu (AM). He was an iconic, legendry artist who changed the history of Australian film and Aboriginal illustration on screen.”
Though the official statement regarding his cause of death is unknown as of now. He was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2019, which may be the reason for his sudden death.
