The Blackhawks was sued with two lawsuits: one alleging sexual assault by him during the team’s Stanley Cup run in 2010. Another case was filed by a former student who he was convicted of assaulting in Michigan.

A former player said Aldrich assaulted him, and the team did nothing after he informed an employee. Moreover, the Cook County Circuit Court lawsuit alleges him with another assaulted case to an unidentified Blackhawks player.

Aldrich also had allegations of ‘turning on porn and masturbating in front of the player without his consent.

This lawsuit reveals that he also threatened ‘physically, financially and emotionally if he ‘did not engage in sexual activity with him. He was then in jail, sentenced to 9 months for the Michigan assault.

The Chicago Sun-Times reported that the Blackhawks were sued after a former player accused Aldrich of sexual assault in 2010, with the lawsuit appending that ‘Hawks management covered up the assault while quietly firing him in summer.”
