Amy Mullis’s husband Todd Mulli was the sole suspect in her murder case. Police began looking into Todd Mullis, after learning Amy was thinking about leaving him.
Delaware County Sheriff’s deputies are currently investigating the case. Todd was imprisoned in February 2019 for Amy’s murder.
The investigation revealed that Amy was having an affair with someone who worked on the farm. The jealousy behind the affair can be considered as a motive for Todd’s action.

Amy Mullis died from various injuries made by farming tools as mentioned in the reports.
She died on November 10, 2018, in her own cornfield as she was discovered on her family farm in Earlville, Iowa.
Amy was facing down while a corn rake protruded from her back when she was discovered. Her husband, Todd dialed 911 saying that she had tumbled on a corn rake and was now unconscious.

The corn rake is a heavy iron tool used to scoop corn in the field. The corn rake having four tines was protruded out from Amy’s body.
However, when the doctor took a close look at her wound, six puncture wound was discovered turning the case against her spouse, Mr. Mullis.
Even though she was rushed to the hospital, Amy died because of severe bleeding from the punctured wound.
Todd Mullis is the husband of Amy Mullis, who is arrested for killing his wife using the local farmer tools. Although investigations reports has yet to reach a verdict for now.
Meanwhile, he was the one to call 911 and inform about his wife, it is believed that he is behind the murder of his wife.
