Dave Roberts was well known for his works, including The Bromley Boys: The True Story of Supporting the Worst Football Club in Britain.
His book was first published in 2008, and it was so well received that it was adapted into a film starring Alan Davies and Martine McCutcheon.
His other publication includes Home and Away and The Long, Long Road to Wembley, which received a five* rating from Waterstones, was followed by 32 programs.
Dave worked in advertising before flourishing as a writer. In the industry, he found success, winning a Silver Lion at Cannes.
