Dinesh Priyantha is a Paralympic track and field athlete from Sri Lanka. He has also served as an important member of the Sri Lanka Army during the Sri Lanka Civil War. 

Over the course of his career so far, Dinesh has made history. He set a new world record in the Men’s F46 Javelin throw with a distance of 6779m and won the gold medal for the first time for Sri Lanka at the “Toky Paralympics.”
